The Shimano SLX CN-M7100 12-speed chain offers better chain retention thanks to enlarged inner plates The new chain has a Quick-Link chain lock and a SIL-TEC coating for a longer service life in off-road conditions.

The completely redesigned SLX CN-M7100 HG chain is equipped with enlarged link plates that engage seamlessly with the newly shaped chainring teeth. This results in highly efficient drivetrain performance. This design reduces the vibrations that normally occur when the inner and outer chain plates meet the chainring. It improves chain retention, increases holding power and enables smoother pedaling.
