These innovations include 12-speed drivetrain, Micro Spline and Hyperglide+, which have already proven themselves in the big sister Deore XT.

The Shimano SLX RD-M7100-SGS rear derailleur ensures fast and precise gear changes across a huge gear range. Guide and tension pulleys with 13 teeth and a rubber damper dampen noise and increase riding comfort. They also improve chain retention under all conceivable conditions.

The RD-M7100 rear derailleur for the SLX 1x12-speed drivetrain system is suitable for use with both the large 10-51 and the smaller 10-45 Shimano CS-M7100 cassette.
