When developing the new brake disc, the aim was to prevent heat-related deformation. The result is incredibly quiet braking performance without sacrificing weight or heat dissipation.
The design of the spider was specially adapted for this purpose, resulting in a more stable construction overall. The proven ICE TECH FREEZA technology also ensures first-class heat management at the friction ring. Its sandwich construction with an aluminum core between two stainless steel layers effectively dissipates heat via the integrated cooling fins with additional thermal coating - for greater fading resistance and better braking performance. You can therefore count on the reliable braking performance of the RT-CL900 brake rotor even on long, steep descents in all conditions.
