The tool is used to press the upper and lower headset shells centrically into the frame. For shell sizes of 1", 1.1/8", 1.1/4" and 1.1/2". The spindle for pressing in the shells for BMX bikes is also longer because of larger frames. The precise manufacture of the tool ensures the pressing in of the shells without damage.
