The NX Eagle® rear derailleur is based on SRAM's X-HORIZON™ technology specially developed for 1x™ drivetrains. The lower derailleur pulley is larger with 14 teeth and serves all Eagle™ cassettes with 11-50 and 10-50 teeth with the X-SYNC tooth form. It also contributes to the smooth overall function of the NX Eagle™. The ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ Type 3 ensures quiet and smooth shifting as well as long durability.

X-HORIZON
The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting and reducing shifting force at the same time. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper derailleur pulley ensures a constant chain gap in every gear.

CAGE LOCK
Thanks to the CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel and fitting the chain is quicker and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock it.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH
ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH derailleurs offer maximum drivetrain stability even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology puts an end to wobbly derailleurs and slamming chains without sacrificing precision.

X-ACTUATION
The X-ACTUATION technology specially developed for SRAM 1-speed ensures precise and consistent shifting along the entire cassette.

X-SYNC2
X-SYNC 2 EAGLE is the latest development of SRAM's X-SYNC technology. The tooth profile of the chainring increases chain tension and efficiency when pedaling. The service life of the chainring is longer, as the X SYNC EAGLE technology reduces friction and contamination.
