Probably the most ridden and most successful downhill tire in the world in recent years. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and smooth running with longitudinally slotted lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behavior.
The Minion DHF was developed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF features a ramp knob for low rolling resistance and channeled knobs to increase grip edges for straight-line control and precise cornering.

Doubledown tires are constructed like our downhill tires: two carcass plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, thanks to two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than our downhill tires, much more stable and robust than our TR + EXO tires and therefore ideal for tough enduro courses.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires on bikes have many advantages. You can ride with less air pressure and therefore have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with an inner tube, and with a sealant instead of an inner tube, the risk of punctures is greatly reduced as small holes are simply sealed. MTB tires are almost exclusively used in competitions, and the number of road bike users is also increasing continuously.
DoubleDown Casing DD
DoubleDown tires are constructed like our downhill tires: two carcass plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, thanks to two fine 120TPI (instead of 60TPI) casing plies and aramid bead cores, they are significantly lighter than our downhill tires and much more robust than our EXO+ models. The ideal tires for tough enduro courses.
3C MaxxGrip
The rubber compound that has made MAXXIS tires the reference in MTB downhill sport. 3C MAXXGRIP offers the ultimate grip and the best damping properties for incomparable traction and performance in downhill races.
Wide Trail Casing
The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and have a too angular shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance.
WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.
