The 858 NSW Carbon Tubeless Disc Brake wheelset with TSE features a tubeless and hookless rim profile for a seamless tire transition and massive weight reduction. The 858 offers you the advantages of our high rims at a weight that is normally achieved with 20 mm lower rims. The internal width of the wheel is 23 mm and is ideal for running wider tires at lower pressures to reduce rolling resistance. TSE technology helps you to overcome the four obstacles that stand in the way of speed: Air resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibratory losses. The undulating, 82 mm to 85 mm high rim shape of the 858 NSW, our patented Sawtooth profile, is our most powerful design for aero efficiency and crosswind stability. The 858 NSW features Zipp Carbon Internal Reinforcement (CiR), making the rim 10% lighter and just as strong as previous models. The result is pure speed for triathlon, time trial and aggressive road cycling. And although this wheelset is optimized for tubeless tires, you still have the option of running tubeless-compatible tires with a tube. The 858 NSW is fastest with a 28 mm tire. In triathlon, wider tubeless tires with lower pressure are faster and provide a smoother ride, so your body is fresher for the run. Disc brakes also offer more reliable speed control and stopping power in all weather conditions. At the center of the 858 NSW is the Cognition V2 hubset, engineered with the Axial Clutch V2 mechanism for faster engagement, reduced friction and improved durability.
