The Daytona, D2 and D3 helmet series from TLD have redefined the connection between technology, safety and artistic design. The new Troy Lee Designs D4 changes the game again. The use of TeXtreme® Spread Tow carbon fiber reinforcements in the shell of the new TLD D4 Carbon Helmet has helped reduce the weight of the full-face helmet by nearly 50 grams without sacrificing strength.
Despite the weight reduction, we were able to strategically add EPS to increase strength and durability. Integrated MIPS brain protection system to reduce rotational motion transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head.
The package of the new TLD D4 is rounded off with lightweight titanium D-rings, collarbone suspension system and XT2 3D cheek pads with quick release and washable X-Static liner.
