TLD's Daytona, D2 and D3 helmet series have redefined the connection between technology, safety and artistic design. The new Troy Lee Designs D4 changes the game again. The use of TeXtreme® Spread Tow carbon fiber reinforcements in the shell of the new TLD D4 Carbon helmet has helped reduce the weight of the full-face helmet by nearly 50 grams without sacrificing strength.
Despite the weight reduction, we were able to strategically add EPS to increase strength and durability. Integrated MIPS brain protection system to reduce rotational motion transmitted to the brain from oblique impacts to the head.
Rounding out the new TLD D4's package are lightweight titanium D-rings, collarbone suspension system and XT2 3D cheek pads with quick release and washable X-Static liner.
MIPS Multi-Directional Impact Protection System reduces rotational forces on the brain in certain crash scenarios.

Innovative visor screws act as a "fuse" and reduce the risk of injury in the event of a crash
Antimicrobial/Quick Dry XT2® Quickrelease contoured 3D cheek pads create an anatomically optimized fit. Separately placed X-Static® & XT2® inner pads with 7 anchor points for optimal fit.
