Stan's tire sealant is still the undisputed No. 1 among tubeless sealants. Just 59ml of Stan's tire sealant can instantly and permanently seal a hole up to 6mm in a standard rebuilt tire or a tubeless tire.
For nearly fifteen years, Stan has produced a special race version of the legendary sealant for many of cycling's most successful teams. Working with athletes who push themselves and tubeless systems to the absolute limit, developers have created a proprietary sealant formula with nearly double the amount of standard sealant crystals, as well as special "XL" crystals that can seal larger punctures. The combination of large and small crystals in the sealing milk combine to form a grid that not only seals the area of the puncture, but reinforces it. This enables a completely new sealing performance.
The tire sealant remains liquid in the tire for 2 to 7 months. A special antifreeze additive also allows the sealant to be used in environments down to a maximum of -35°C.
