For nearly fifteen years, Stan's has produced a special racing version of the legendary sealant for many of cycling's most successful teams. Working with athletes who push themselves and tubeless systems to the absolute limit, developers have created a proprietary sealant formula with nearly double the amount of standard sealant crystals, as well as special "XL" crystals that can seal larger punctures. The combination of large and small crystals in the sealing milk combine to form a grid that not only seals the area of the puncture, but reinforces it. This enables a completely new sealing performance.
Stan's tire sealant is still the undisputed No. 1 among tubeless sealants. Only 59ml of Stan's tire sealant can instantly and permanently seal a hole up to 6mm in size in a rebuilt standard or tubeless tire.
The tire sealant remains liquid in the tire for 2 to 7 months. A special anti-freeze additive also allows the sealant to be used in environments down to a maximum of -35°C.
