The new Shimano 105 R7000 groupset brings a new generation of 105s to the market. In addition to many similarities with the top groupsets, the upmarket entry-level groupset is intended to offer an enormously wide range of applications and race-proven performance. The Shimano 105 has always marked the entry into the field of high-quality, race-inspired component groupsets. With the new 105, this definition is now much broader and also includes the high degree of user-friendliness and customizability required for a wide range of applications. The new BR-R7070 flat-mount brake callipers are compatible with Ice Technology brake pads and UCI-compliant SM-RT70 brake rotors and thus offer a high level of heat dissipation.
