The new electronic Shimano XTR Di2 is ready to revolutionize MTB shifting. It is the first MTB shifting system that changes gears with unprecedented precision at the touch of a button, and the strengths of electronic shifting include fast, accurate and smooth gear changes at the touch of a button. And not just in good weather, but also in extreme conditions such as downpours, mud and snow. Programmable shift layouts and the new unique Synchro-Shift are further advantages of the electric gearshift. Compared to classic shift cables, the wiring is virtually maintenance-free and at the same time ensures a clear new cockpit design. Synchro-Shift shifting with just one switch: front and rear chain changes with just one switch. Intelligent technology automatically ensures the most efficient chainring/sprocket combination. There are two different, tested shifting layouts to choose from. It is possible to switch between these or change gears manually at any time, even while riding. Of course, personal settings can also be programmed.
