Description
An important factor for puncture resistance in addition to tire and tube is the rim tape. It protects the tire from mechanical influences such as the spoke heads or metal chips in the rim and covers the holes of the spoke holes cleanly.
The Schwalbe High-Pressure rim tape is already measured for various tire sizes. The width of the rim tape depends on the inner width of the rim. The rim tape should be about 2-4 mm wider than the inner dimension (jaw width) of your rim.
