The Park Tool BKM-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleeding Kit bleeds most models of mineral oil-based hydraulic bicycle disc brakes, including models from Shimano®, Magura®, TRP®, Tektro®, Trick Stuff®, SRAM® DB8, Campagnolo®, Promax® and Clarks®. Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and impurities from the brake system to ensure long component life and optimum performance.
The BKM-1.2 is designed for everyday commercial use and includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clamps, bleed blocks in various sizes, a bleed funnel and a set of Park Tools unique mountable syringe holders and multiple hose fittings for the various standards used on hydraulic bicycle brake systems. All parts are interchangeable and available from Park Tool. Housed in a robust storage case.
The BKM-1.2 has been equipped with new tools that make life easier for mechanics.
The BKM-1.2 bleeding kit is only suitable for mineral oil-based hydraulic bicycle brake systems. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or in the respective maintenance tools. Cross-contamination of the brake fluid can cause the seals to fail, which in turn can cause the brake to fail. For brakes with DOT fluid, use the Park Tool BKD-1 or the BKD-1.2 bleeding kit for hydraulic disc brakes - DOT.
