The electronic SRAM GX Eagle AXS™ rear derailleur for mountain bike use has a robust steel cage and shifts cleanly and directly on Eagle 12-speed cassettes. The electronic control gives your bike a clean look and with the AXS app you can optionally optimize the shifting behavior to your needs. Thanks to Overload Clutch, the rear derailleur protects itself against hard impacts, so you don't have to worry when the terrain gets a little rougher. Whether you need the last gear on a climb or want to pick up the pace before the finish line, in combination with an Eagle cassette, you are equipped for any situation with the GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur. In terms of color, it fits seamlessly into the GX Eagle color scheme. The supplied battery cover protects the battery, which is best ordered at the same time, from stone chips.

AXS™:
AXS is SRAM's electronic integration platform that connects electronic bike components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows you to view battery status, change component behavior, adjust controls, receive maintenance reminders and update firmware.

Overload Clutch:
In the event of an impact against the rear derailleur, the motor disengages for maximum freedom of movement of the rear derailleur and returns to the starting position after the impact.

Roller Bearing Clutch™:
Rear derailleurs with Roller Bearing Clutch are equipped for rough, demanding terrain. Unimpressed by a surface full of roots, stones or rocks, the technology ensures a stable rear derailleur and prevents chain slap. The rear derailleur thus offers maximum drivetrain stability without compromising on precision or performance.

Cage Lock™:
Thanks to the rear derailleur's Cage Lock technology, mounting the chain and installing and removing the rear wheel is almost effortless. Simply release the chain tension by pushing the derailleur cage forwards and lock it.
