Organic brake pads are easier to modulate than metallic brake pads, but offer less braking power and wear out somewhat faster. The noise development in wet conditions and the thermal load on the brake is lower than with metallic pads.
The aluminum carrier is just as stable, but lighter than the standard carrier and thus offers an additional weight advantage.
Use organic pads if: the conditions are dry, you want good braking performance right from the start / Advantages: better modulation, less noise, shorter run-in time, less weight due to aluminum backing plate / Disadvantages: wears out more quickly.
