Designed from the ground up for big wheels, the BoXXer has an optimized casting, 35mm thick aluminum stanchions in Fast Black and motocross-inspired crowns that allow for an optimized handlebar height. The DH-specific DebonAir air spring with 200 mm travel offers the rider an optimal combination of the properties of steel and air springs: low breakaway force, mid-stroke support, linear feel and tunable progression. The Charger 2.1 RC2 shock offers independent adjustment of the high- and low-speed compression damping. In addition, the revised damper design reduces rider fatigue, friction, overall weight, improves response and traction and reduces the effort required to turn the adjustment knobs and determine the best setting for the terrain. The crowns also reduce weight and make larger wheel and tire combinations possible.

Debon Air
It's okay to ride a soft suspension. Nevertheless, Debon Air dampers hardly give way even when pedaling lightly. This technology makes the current Rockshox shocks plushier than ever before. At first glance, this appears to be a weakness, but you will feel the benefits on the trail. The connection between the bike and the ground becomes seamless and your DebonAir damper irons out bumps.

MORE TRACTION AND CONTROL

Charger 2 damping

The Charger 2 damping design allows for more extensive low-speed compression adjustment in open mode and a more effective pedaling mode that is particularly effective on hilly trails.
Rapid Recovery
Who wouldn't want more travel for successive hits? Thanks to the Rapid Recovery system, the shock returns to its initial position more quickly after successive hits, allowing the bike to grip the ground more precisely. This more active damping system does not fail and ensures a ride with higher and softer spring stiffness. With Rapid Recovery, the rider benefits from greater suspension travel for a smooth and controlled ride on every stroke.
Sag markings
If you don't set up your suspension correctly, you might as well be riding someone else's bike. But why waste plastic clips or rulers to adjust the suspension over and over again? RockShox sag markings are printed directly on the stanchions of the suspension fork for easy and precise setup of the perfect suspension.
Power Bulge
If you need more strength in your forearms for more control, train them in the gym. If you want to make your suspension fork more durable, you can achieve this with the Power Bulge. Other manufacturers simply increase the stanchion size and add weight. Power Bulge, on the other hand, simply reinforces the fork legs for extra guidance. This increases stiffness and ensures maximum riding comfort. Besides, it's called Power Bulge.
Bottomless Tokens
By using the optionally available tokens (volume spacers), the air volume of the fork can be reduced and thus influence the spring characteristic. A smoother response with higher end progression is achieved.
Maxle Stealth
The Maxle Stealth thru axle is a lightweight, slim alternative to Maxle Lite and Maxle Ultimate.
Boost
Aggressive trail and enduro riders have come to appreciate the advantages of large 27.5" and 29" wheels. However, the large wheels have a steeper spoke angle and therefore reduced wheel stiffness. This is where the open Boost axle standard comes in and increases the installation width and the flange distance of the hubs. The flatter spoke angles result in stiffer and more robust wheels.
