The design of the tire was developed with the help of former downhill world champions to create a tire whose behavior is easily predictable in any type of use. The large and widely spaced knobs provide a solid feeling of stability, along with superior braking and traction grip. The SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound is a soft compound specifically tuned for demanding enduro use in all weather conditions. Although the SmartGRIP Gravity compound is soft, it is still very tear-resistant and offers good values for rolling resistance and wear. The HyperWALL carcass is an e-mountain bike-specific technology, as it offers additional sidewall reinforcement and greater puncture protection. The rubber insert firmly bonded to the bead offers excellent protection against pinch flats while providing good support at lower air pressures.
