SmartGravity Compound
This rubber compound has been developed for modern riding styles and high speeds. The softer inherent damping provides the rider with controlled feedback from the ground. The addition of lignin, a natural additive patented by Pirelli, has significantly improved the mechanical properties of the rubber. It leads to a more consistent performance over the entire service life of the tire, without having to accept any disadvantages in terms of robustness

HyperWall construction
The robust Hyperwall sidewall not only reliably prevents punctures on stony surfaces and during aggressive riding, it also gives the tire a great deal of stability. Especially on E-MTBs and in gravity use, stable sidewalls are a cornerstone for tire performance and safe bike handling. The Hyperwall sidewall has a thick rubber layer that is directly connected to the tire bead. It increases the puncture protection of the tire by 50% and makes the tire as stable as a thoroughbred downhill tire.
