The focus of the P ZERO Race is entirely on maximum performance. The tread design is identical to that of the tubeless-ready version of the same name, as is the rubber compound used. The P ZERO Race is made from the new SmartEVO compound. With the know-how from over 110 years of tradition in motorsport, Pirelli has put together a mixture of three functional polymers with "intelligent" properties that form the basis of the outstanding performance of SmartEVO. Each of the three polymers has specific performance characteristics, and in combination they guarantee the optimum balance of grip and rolling resistance. Completely new to this model, however, is the 120 TPI nylon carcass, designed for use with inner tubes and in compliance with the new ETRTO standards for 19C rims (inner rim width). Performance clincher tire that is at home on the road and fits any modern rim. Not tubeless compatible, not hookless compatible.

The P Zero Race from Pirelli combines the advantages of tubetype technology in an all-rounder bicycle tire for high-intensity training sessions and races.
The TechBelt Road casing improves reliability against punctures without compromising the weight of the tire, while the special SmartEvo compound improves grip on both wet and dry asphalt compared to Pirelli's previous bicycle tire compounds.

Series
P Zero: More than 100 years of experience in motorsport has led to the development of Pirelli's most powerful road bike tire series. Those who like to race against themselves can now enjoy products that are also used by World Tour athletes.

Tread
The P Zero Race tread is an evolution of the P Zero Velo design: several periods of research and development on the roads of the World Tour resulted in a new design that improves the bike's behavior in all weather conditions.

Compound
The SmartEvo compound has a new composition that improves on the already excellent performance of previous Pirelli road bike compounds. Experience from motorsport competitions and input from World Tour winners has resulted in Pirelli's best ever road bike compound.
Carcass
The new carcass has been developed for even more puncture protection in a wide range of conditions. This is achieved through a lightweight yet flexible carcass structure.
