MEET THE SILENT XRING PULLEY ™
That familiar clacking sound has accompanied us on every ride for decades. It's time for a change. Conventional polymer pulleys are pretty loud, it's always been a norm. Aluminum pulleys are even worse, as the material radiates sound more than any polymer, making them louder. We are introducing a completely new generation of pulleys that can reduce the noise level by 5-7 dB compared to the standard Dura Ace pulleys. This corresponds to around 40% noise reduction. Practically speaking, the cage is very quiet.
CLIP to NOISE REDUCTION
We use a patent-pending solution, our special X-ring rubber suspension bands, which dampen the chain impact on the idler teeth, eliminating the engagement noise that contributes the most to overall drivetrain noise. From now on, your ride will be quieter than before and you will hear noises you didn't hear before. It's the new era of shift cages
HOW TO INSTALL HOLLOWCAGE
Please watch the video instructions below.
Install the cage with the lowest spring tension setting (first hole from the left). If you are using an 11-32T cassette in combination with 52/36T chainrings or larger, you may need to set the cage with medium spring tension setting (middle hole) to allow for chain growth, but only if the first position causes a loose chain.
