Surfaces that are too dry or acidic delay or prevent curing, whereas higher moisture levels and alkaline surfaces have an accelerating effect.
Due to the vapor pressure of the liquid adhesive, slowly curing excess around the bonding area can lead to a white precipitate (blooming effect). These are adhesive vapors that cure. These can be removed with isopropanol or acetone, for example. However, it must be ensured that the surfaces of the parts to be cleaned are also resistant to these solvents. Blooming can be prevented/reduced by sparing use of the adhesive, sufficient humidity and ventilation of the workplace.
