The new Vittoria Mazza combines years of athlete experience with cutting-edge tread technology to set new standards in the mixed terrain enduro tire category. The Mazza starts with a defined center tread and uses deep sipes in the direction of rotation that allow the tire to roll fast while counteracting drift, especially in rough terrain. The stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp but digs in on inclines, making the Mazza a top choice for both front and rear use. Plenty of space has been created in the center tread to ensure braking traction while speeding up cleaning. The Mazza's cornering performance is achieved through Vittoria's signature progressive sipe width technology, which provides a rubbery, effective inside edge without the instability that competitors experience on the outside of the tread. Simply put, larger sipes flex more than smaller sipes. This unique siping pattern creates an asymmetric tread flex and provides a predictable, safe and communicative feel at the limit of cornering. The Mazza's generous tread depth grips a wide variety of terrain and is stabilized by Vittoria's proprietary 4C layering process. Four separate Graphene 2.0 compounds are layered on top of each other so that the surface of the tread remains sticky while the base remains stable.
