The Air-Liner Protect Downhill features a higher density foam compared to the Enduro version, carefully engineered to withstand the relentless forces encountered on high-speed descents.
The material is compatible with any type of liquid sealant. The insert may only be ridden tubeless. A special Multiway Tubeless valve is included.
- Impact protection: Air-Liner Protect protects the rims from heavy impacts and at the same time reduces the risk of snake bites. The "T" shape creates a barrier between the rim edges and the inside of the tire.
- High speed: Does not affect the rolling of the tire. Under air pressure, the insert presses onto the rim and forms a seal that can withstand even the strongest impacts. The insert does not feel like a foreign body in your tire.
- Lateral stability: Air-Liner Protect keeps the sides of the tire upright under the stress of cornering. You can approach corners at full speed: no risk of the tires coming off the rim. The insert also increases the protection of the tire sidewalls against cuts and punctures.
- Large air volume: Thanks to its "T" shape, the Air-Liner Protect allows a larger volume of air inside the tire. This means you can lower the air pressure and gain additional grip without the risk of your tire slipping off the rim or damaging the rim.
