The Uphill Hip Pack 2 is produced in a climate-friendly way by using recycled materials: A certified mass balance process is used for the siliconized main material. Pyrolysis oil is extracted from used tires, which is then fed into the conventional polyamide production process. Chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. This product is also climate-neutral: emissions from materials, the manufacturing process and shipping have been calculated holistically and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully offset by the independent non-profit organization ?myclimate?
