In addition to the asymmetrically opening main compartment with a volume of 12 l, a flat, stretchy mesh pocket and a zippered side pocket provide access to a cell phone or bar without having to remove the lightweight bike backpack. The front lacing has a triple function: Stowing a wind or rain jacket when the backpack is full; compression when there is less luggage and attachment option for hiking poles. 3D mesh on the back and shoulder straps ensures good ventilation when biking or hiking. Reflective elements cleverly integrated into the design, a hydration system outlet and the rain cover in the pack bag complete the features of this universal backpack. All materials have a high recycled content. A certified mass balance process is used for the ultra-light, siliconized main material of the lightweight backpack. Pyrolysis oil is extracted from used tires and fed into the conventional polyamide production process. Chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. This product is also climate-neutral: emissions from materials, the manufacturing process and shipping have been calculated holistically and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully offset by the independent non-profit organization ?myclimate?
