The tire tread pliers is the first of its kind - specially developed for the processing and trimming of tire treads in the MTB sector. A special feature of the pliers is the adjustable height adjuster. This allows the tire profile to be cut exactly to the same length all around. The use of the profile pliers optimizes the driving characteristics of the tire. For example, the center tread on mud tires can be shortened to reduce rolling resistance - or outer lugs can be machined to make the tire more aggressive. Even lugs that have been driven round can be smoothed out again with the tread pliers.
