The joint face wrench with tang is used to assemble or disassemble the spider. The interchangeable tangs have a diameter of 2.3 mm and 2.8 mm, the distance between them is adjustable. The maximum distance when the wrench is fully open is 50 mm, while the distance between the pivots in the closed position is 10 mm.
