It wasn't easy to improve on the class-leading design and function of our D3 helmet, but we did it. Built with a shell design and aerospace materials, we were able to bring the D4 composite helmet down to 1050 grams without sacrificing strength. The MIPS C2 protection system is used to add an extra layer of safety in the event of a fall. For added comfort, the D4 Comp directs cooling air through a front air intake system that flows through the polymer center and side mesh grille to keep your head cooler while you ride. X-static® and XT2® anti-microbial/anti-odor padding make the inside of the helmet much nicer.
