The M99 PRO2 e-bike headlight from Supernova is one of the brightest approved e-bike headlights on the market. The high beam of the 16-LED matrix with up to 3,000 lumens and 450 lux sets new standards in terms of visibility. The light sensor automatically switches between the SMD LED daytime running light module and the low beam in a matter of seconds. With protection class IP67 and the newly designed aluminum housing with the hardened front glass, the electronics inside the headlamp are reliably protected against environmental influences.
The SUPERNOVA M99 PRO 2 is the brightest StVZO-approved 12 V e-bike headlight on the market. The high beam of the 16-LED matrix (up to 3,000 lumens/450 lux) sets new standards. Thanks to sensor control and the new daytime running light module with 12 power LEDs, the light switches to low beam in a fraction of a second, for example when entering a tunnel.
Intelligent control center with integrated energy storage unit
This headlight has an integrated energy storage unit that can be used to manage components with short-term high power consumption (e.g. electric gearshift, horn or a brake light) and operate them with peak power of up to 30 W. This means that the M99 PRO 2 has much more power available for the light, as no power needs to be reserved for other consumers that are only in operation for a short time.
High-quality materials and workmanship
Made from seamlessly forged aluminum, the M99 PRO 2's high-precision milled housing is particularly impressive in terms of workmanship. This approach improves the heat dissipation of the aluminum housing and ensures that the 16 high-performance LEDs are optimally cooled. This in turn guarantees the best light output and increases their service life. The reflector with its 99 individually calculated mirror surfaces is protected from all environmental influences thanks to hardened front glass.
M99 Matrix Mirror
Matching the 99 individually calculated mirror surfaces to the intelligent LED matrix was a complex development project. Only by using up to 9 intelligently controllable automotive LEDs in combination with multiple computer calculations of the concave and convex catoptric facets of the mirror was it possible to create this pioneering product.
Ice-cold calculations
In order for the high-performance LEDs to work efficiently, they require optimum cooling. This is where Supernova's many years of experience come into play. Careful material selection and thermal simulation have enabled the housing and electronics to be designed in such a way that the LEDs can achieve their maximum performance at all times.
