Shimano Ultegra BR-R8110-R rim brake
The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8110 side-pull brake impresses with a clear contact feel and a good balance between braking power, stiffness and low weight. This is due not least to the effective SLR-EV technology of the slim Direct Mount brake body despite the increased 28C tire clearance.
SLR-EV
SLR-EV technology extends the Shimano Linear Response concept, which is aimed at improved response behavior and optimum modulation.
Symmetrical Dual Pivot side-pull brakes with SLR-EV system use two bearings and a roller to achieve greater efficiency in the joint area. SLR-EV also has a positive effect on the modulation of direct mount calipers, so that current models can boast a 36% increase in braking force.
