The extremely durable and waterproof Shimano Steps BT-E8016 battery has a low-profile design specially developed for E-MTBs for greater shock and vibration resistance. The high-performance battery with excellent range and 630 Wh offers consistent recharging and is compatible with the SHIMANO E8000 E-MTB series.
The new down tube battery for the E8000 series is slim and sleek, elegant but powerful. With its 630 watt hours, it offers sufficient capacity even for extended mountain bike tours and, thanks to the water-protected design - especially at the interface to the battery mount - is also ideally prepared for bad weather tours. The compact design offers a low center of gravity for a more natural riding experience. In addition, the holder has been deliberately designed to hold the battery securely and firmly, even in the roughest terrain, but to release it quickly and easily for charging.
