The L05A-RF replaces the L03A brake pad.

Resin pads offer reduced noise when braking in dry and wet conditions. However, wear is increased and temperature stability is somewhat limited. Shimano uses aluminum cooling fins for these brake pads, which dissipate the heat generated during braking and significantly reduce the tendency of the brake system to overheat! The limit range can be significantly shifted.
