The Shimano RD-M8050-GS XT Di2 rear derailleur combines high performance with precise shifting. In combination with the XT Di2 front derailleur, this results in optimum chain guidance, as the position is automatically and reciprocally adjusted between these two components. A reassuring feeling, especially when you are riding off-road, where frequent, precise shifting is required, or in competitions.

Sometimes a perfectly executed shift at the right time is the only thing that decides whether you master a riding situation. The light operating forces, stability and precision of the XT Di2 RD-M8050 rear derailleur from Shimano ensure superior performance even in critical situations.
Both the rear derailleur and front derailleur react immediately and directly to the rider's shifting commands and adopt the correct position to the respective sprocket or chainring for all gear combinations thanks to the front derailleur's Auto Trim function.
The RD-M8050 rear derailleur is also Synchro Shift compatible, which means that the rear derailleur and front derailleur are electronically matched to each other and a single shift lever is all that is needed to perform the desired shifting operations as efficiently as possible. The shifting can be individually adjusted as required.
The new ultra-slim Shadow design provides more space on the trails, optimizes the flat angle of attack and reduces operating forces while improving shifting and drivetrain stability.
In addition, the new Shadow+ technology for the Di2 is used, in which the friction damper can not only be switched on or off using a toggle switch, but can also be individually adjusted using a hexagon socket screw.
