The seamless shifting of the ULTEGRA R8100 12-speed cassette allows the rider to concentrate fully on climbs, sprints or enjoyable cruising without having to worry about the next shift. Sprockets with more teeth ensure greater drivetrain efficiency and compatibility with SHIMANO 11- and 12-speed FREEHUB freehub bodies.
HYPERGLIDE+ cassettes set new standards for off-road shifting thanks to seamless upshifts and downshifts across the entire gear range. The time has come for this technology to be used on road bikes too. Shifting is now possible even when exerting maximum effort on climbs or in a direct duel with an opponent. In all gears, the ULTEGRA R8150 drivetrain ensures maximum efficiency thanks to larger teeth and ensures compatibility with existing HYPERGLIDE FREEHUB freehub bodies. Despite their expansion to 12 gears, ULTEGRA CS-R8100 cassettes set new standards for road bike shifting systems.

The new FC-R8100 crankset in the ULTEGRA range offers the same fast, precise front shifting performance and efficient power transmission for which SHIMANO is renowned. In addition, it is available in even more length variants than before. With a length between 160 and 175 mm, the ULTEGRA cranks are now also suitable for shorter riders, triathletes and anyone interested in shorter crank arms.
As a central component in SHIMANO's new 12-speed road bike line-up, the FC-R8100 crankset is characterized by SHIMANO's typical shifting quality and transmission efficiency. Redesigned for seamless 12-speed shifting, the ULTEGRA crankset is available in lengths from 160 to 175 mm. This means more power and improved customization options for smaller riders, triathletes and riders with special biomechanical requirements.
