The Shimano SLX 7000 groupset is characterized by an elegant new look and high-quality technologies. From the cranks to the rear derailleur, front derailleur, shifters and brakes through to the cassettes and hubs. And since, according to Shimano's system philosophy, the whole is more than the sum of its parts, this applies all the more to the SLX as a complete groupset, which definitely doesn't have to shy away from the competition.
Shimano offers two cassettes that are optimally matched to the system. On the one hand, the 11-40 tooth version, which is pleasantly light at 467 g, and the wider-ratio 11-42 tooth cassette for an even wider range of applications.
