The Schwalbe tube No.5 fits 18" (or 17") tires with a width of 32-47 mm and is used on children's bikes, strollers, unicycles, trailers, etc..
Because of their excellent manufacturing Schwalbe tubes have proven themselves on the market for years. They are uniform in wall thickness and round in barrel. Due to their precise joining, they are durable in the seam. A comparative test showed: the Schwalbe hose keeps the air pressure stable significantly longer than other hoses (these lost almost twice as much air pressure in 30 days as the Schwalbe hose). A possible reason for this could be a lower butyl content in the other hoses. The special quality of Schwalbe hoses results from the uniqueness of their rubber compound. To ensure this high quality, every single Schwalbe hose is inflated and checked for at least 24 hours before it leaves the factory.
