The voluminous fat bike tire is a tireless "workhorse" and can take on almost any obstacle. Whether it's deep ground, sand, snow or rough terrain - thanks to its huge volume, it flattens everything in its path! Since no other bike is as dependent on its tire as the fat bike, Schwalbe has equipped the Jumbo Jim with a three-ply "Super-Ground" carcass designed for its intended use as well as a Chafer, which additionally protects the contact area with the rim against punctures and friction. The proven SnakeSkin insert for excellent cut protection can be found over the entire surface - ideal if you ride the tire with very low air pressure. Schwalbe also relies on a foldable bead core and improved tubeless mounting. The open tread of the Jumbo Jim and the medium lug height ensure plenty of traction and excellent rolling resistance at a comparatively low weight. The tread is also extended far onto the sidewall and ensures excellent grip in corners. The tried-and-tested ADDIX Speedgrip Compound rubber compound does the rest in terms of cushioning, grip and durability.

Super Ground

TLE - Tubeless Easy
A new monofilament sidewall fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard:
Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealing fluid is required, but mounting is otherwise just as easy as with real tubeless tires. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are no longer necessary with Tubeless Easy.
