With its principle of the "horizontal parallelogram" and the offset derailleur pulley, X-HORIZON™ always creates the same distance between the pulley and all eleven sprockets. This makes shifting fast and precise. Because it restricts all movements of the rear derailleur to the horizontal axis, it speeds up the shifting process, reduces the required forces and prevents ghost shifting. The ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ keeps the rear derailleur stable and prevents chain slap. Installing and removing the rear wheel is significantly simplified by the CAGE LOCK™. Together with the X01 shifter, the X-HORIZON™ rear derailleur forms the backbone of X-ACTUATION™ technology, which makes incredibly smooth shifting possible.
