For maintenance-conscious riders, Sram has developed a mineral oil in collaboration with Maxima that is especially suitable for the DB8 brake. The mineral oil is intended for problem-free, sporadic use and retains its performance over long periods of time without the need to bleed or flush the lines.
For riders who prefer riding to wrenching, SRAM has worked with Maxima to develop a mineral oil suitable for use with the DB8 brake. This mineral oil is ideal for occasional riders, as it does not draw water and thus eliminates the need for regular changing and bleeding.
Compatible with hydraulic Sram DB8 Mineraloil disc brakes.
The oil must not be used in SRAM brakes filled with DOT4 or DOT 5.1!
