The materials used were selected with particular care in order to achieve the extreme resilience: The tarpaulin fabric used here is also used for oil booms at sea, where it must be able to withstand the stormiest waves of the salty seas. A tougher stress test is therefore hardly possible. The cotton areas have a waterproof and water-repellent coating so that rain and splash water run off. The components are bonded together with loving care and precision welding by hand in Germany.

In addition, all components come from Europe (cotton from Italy and tarpaulin fabric from Finland). As is usual for trunk bags from racktime, YVES 2.0 is also equipped with a Snapit 2.0 adapter, which allows secure and easy mounting on all 2.0 system carriers from racktime. In addition, the slanted design is optimally adapted to the rider's ergonomics.
