The Rekon is a fast rolling XC trail tire inspired by the Ikon, our most popular XC tire. Medium and technical terrain is its home. Wide center lugs provide good control when braking and accelerating. L-shaped side lugs provide secure grip in corners, even on loose surfaces. The Rekon has all the features to become just as popular as the Icon.

Our new EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together, this results in EXO+ with the following advantages: 27 % better puncture protection on the tread* 51 % more stable sidewall* 28 % more puncture protection*, * compared to our proven stable EXO carcass. Tires with EXO+ Protection are built for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, and are especially designed for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs.
