The MT5 has been Magura's flagship for years when it comes to outstanding braking performance at an affordable price.
In the PRO version of the MT5, you get a complete set of brakes including Storm HC brake rotors in 180 and 203 mm diameter. The slightly shorter HC 1-finger lever is also fitted ex works.
The proven 4-piston technology from motorcycle racing, adapted for bike use, promises maximum braking power. The brake calliper, forged from a single piece, has a particularly high level of rigidity. Magura's 4-piston technology combined with optimum ergonomics of the brake lever result in a performance package that allows you to tackle any terrain, no matter how difficult, with infinite composure and confidence. The MT5 PRO is also perfect for S-pedelecs. The 1-finger brake levers made of aluminum are comfortable to hold and allow you to easily and precisely modulate the braking power even during long braking operations. The use of Carbotecture technology on the brake lever housing gives the MT5 a low weight. Thanks to the radial sensor design, internal friction is reduced to a minimum, which lowers transmission losses, optimizes modulation and results in a sensitive brake.
Magura has also ensured that the MT5 PRO is easy to use. The lever width of the ergonomic 1-finger brake lever can be adjusted on the lever with a 3 mm hexagon socket. The brake pistons are magnetic for easy pad changes, guaranteeing a perfect fit in the brake calliper. Thanks to the increased piston retraction, the MT5 brake is particularly carefree in continuous use and can be reliably adjusted without dragging compared to the MT7.
