MOUNTING AND SECURING
With Scout, you have the choice between open and discreet securing. To show that the bike is equipped with Scout, simply use the supplied neon yellow silicone cover. For discreet security, attach Scout to the bike via the bottle cage mount using tamper-proof security screws without a cover.

MOUNTING WITH A BOTTLE CAGE
The extremely flat and compact design of the Scout allows it to be mounted and hidden under a bottle cage. This is a great way to hide the Scout for even more discretion.

ARMING & CHARGING
Arming or disarming the Scout alarm is very simple and can be done in two ways: via the button on the side of the device when the connected iPhone is in close proximity (<1.5 m), or via the Knog app when the device is within Bluetooth range.

The Scout has a battery life of up to 6 months and only needs to be recharged twice a year. When the Scout's battery needs charging, the device does not need to be removed from the bike, but can easily be charged with a USB-C cable via the Scout charging port, which is located behind a waterproof silicone plug.

LEDS & WATERPROOFING
The Scout has a dual function LED that indicates at a glance whether the Scout is alarmed. The same LEDs also indicate the charging status of the battery.

The Scout is IP66 waterproof, which means it can be left in the rain, used in the rain and washed with a water jet without its function being affected.
