K-EDGE built a CNC machined upgrade mount for Team TREK Segfredo a few years ago that dramatically increased the stability and performance of the Bontrager plastic mount. Customers were asking for the K-EDGE option and we were overwhelmed with the amount of orders for it. Then, in 2023, TREK updated the one-piece Madone/Emonda handlebar stem with the "Gen 7" version, but this handlebar/stem did not have the same shape or front curvature and required an entirely new mount to fit correctly. To be clear - Gen 6 and Gen 7 bars and mounts are not compatible.
