The WIND 75 DB model completes the WIND range. This high-profile wheel embodies the latest aerodynamic research and development of our engineers.
The ultra aero profile makes it the ideal wheel for time trials, triathlons and all situations where aerodynamics makes the difference and you pedal at high speeds.
The challenge of the project was to achieve the lowest possible drag and high speeds despite the height of the profile, without compromising the stability and handling of the wheel. This was achieved through extensive wind tunnel testing, which resulted in a new profile of the unidirectional carbon rim, whose internal and external dimensions are in line with current trends: The rim width is 27 mm, the inner dimension is 19 mm.
The rim is 2-WAY FIT™, so ready for tubeless tires. Thanks to the rim processing with our Mo-Mag™ technology, no tape is needed for sealing. The rim is also stiffer and stronger without holes for the spoke nipples. The spokes are double butted, round and straight pull (the best aerodynamic shape), and the nipples are made of aluminum.
We use sealed cartridge bearings in aluminum hubs for both the front and rear wheels.
Two very important aspects for the rider are the exceptional value for money that makes this fast wheel more affordable compared to the SPEED range, and the possibility to buy only the rear wheel.
