The lightest Dynaplug to date, the Racer Ultralite uses a rugged, fiberglass-reinforced, injected nylon construction to reduce the Racer's already light weight to just 14 grams. Also included is a special silicone mount that was tested for a year in the backcountry of California and the UK. This lightweight mount fits under your bottle cage and keeps your racer secure and rattle-free. Dynaplug is the quickest and easiest way to repair a tubeless tire on the road. If necessary, simply remove whatever caused the hole in your tire, push the insertion tube directly into the hole, pull out the tool and insert the Dynaplug repair pin into the tire - done! The sealant-friendly repair pins are made of a unique viscoelastic, impregnated rubber that bonds instantly and permanently to the tire, and the abrasion-resistant brass tip will neither scratch the rim nor puncture the rim tape. No need to remove the tire, there are no messy adhesives or solvents, just slip it on and go, go, go! The double-ended racer includes two pre-loaded insert tubes, one with a standard soft nose repair pin for standard punctures and one with an extra-large Megaplug repair pin for repairing larger tire damage. Both are fitted with a watertight CNC-machined cap so that the repair pins are always ready for use, even if they have been attached to your bike for months. With a weight of just 23 grams including the holder, there is no excuse for even the smallest weight-lover. The 93 mm length can be easily stored in a bag or attached to the frame for quicker access. The end of the repair pins can be cut off later, if it bothers you, cut it to a minimum length of 4 mm depending on the position. The kit includes the tool itself with standard stainless steel Soft Nose and Megplug insert tubes, the silicone frame mount, 2 x Megaplug repair pins and 3 x standard Soft Nose pins.
