DT ALPINE® III You want an ultra stable and light spoke? Choose the DT AlpineIII. DT Alpine III is the spoke with the lowest weight in relation to stability. This is achieved through elaborate manufacturing. Starting with a 2.34 mm spoke, the diameter is reduced to 2 mm at the thread and to as little as 1.8 mm in the center section using a cold forging process. This achieves the greatest possible weight saving of 173 g compared to spokes with a continuous diameter. Despite the lightweight center section, the DT Alpine III retains maximum strength and reliability. The optimum area of application is for highly loaded wheels, such as tandems or e-bikes. Weight: 418 g for 64 spokes with a length of 264 mm.
