The difference from conventional clipless pedals is hidden inside, where with a sleeve the distance from pedal to crank can be changed. These 5mm of adjustment often make a huge difference. Because they decide whether one plunges daringly and confidently into the next stone field or remains uncertain before it: The wider the stance, the more securely you stand on the bike, because your feet are further apart. At the same time, 10mm less stance can provide the last bit of efficiency to climb to the top. In the age of super-boost rear ends, people with big feet also have significantly less freedom of movement and more and more contact with their chainstay. Here, too, the 10mm can make a decisive difference.
In addition, all Acros clipless pedals come with fiberglass-reinforced skidplates, which make clicking in much easier despite the stainless steel pins. As with all high-quality clipless pedals, the preload and thus the necessary force to click out can be infinitely adjusted, so that even click novices can get off in any situation.
